Has Jon Taffer left ‘Bar Rescue’…or was he fired?

Jon Taffer isn’t the type of person to avoid paying his bills — or his responsibilities. Rescue at the bar.

The reality show host and executive producer issued a message to fans on Monday in which he emphasized his intention to “address some of the questions and concerns that (he) has been getting from them.”

“Yes, you’ve noticed that I don’t host every episode Rescue at the bar this season,” he continued. “I want to assure everyone that I am in good health and as an executive producer, even if I don’t host an episode, I will still oversee every episode and make sure Rescue at the bar “continues to deliver the high standards you expect.”

He noted that “as the industry evolves, the number of bars going out of business is increasing at an alarming rate.”

“While I can’t be everywhere at once, my vision and strategies continue to drive the show,” he added. “Rest assured, I’m not going anywhere and I’ll be hosting many more episodes. Rescue at the bar is still going strong and thank you for your unwavering support and passion for the show. Together we will continue to save bars and change lives, one episode at a time.”

Taffer ended his statement by urging fans to “stay tuned for more rescues and amazing transformations” and ended it with “bless you.” He received some love in the comments, with fans thanking Taffer for being “a true leader in (his) field” and sharing that they were “very happy to hear” that he was okay.
