Popular French-inspired bakery Paris Baguette Hawaii launches new mobile app

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Paris Baguette, a South Korean bakery-cafe, now allows customers to order food for pickup at its downtown Honolulu location and plans to open a second location in Hawaii this year.

Paris Baguette CEO Mina Yoon, based at 1000 Bishop St., says the new mobile app “makes it easy to order coffee and breakfast or lunch ahead of time while you’re on your way to the office or a meeting.”

“This version of the app offers full ordering over the phone for all the menu items we have available that day,” Yoon said.

Opened in 1988 in Seoul, the cafe has gained fans for its fluffy, handmade pastries, cakes, sandwiches, salads and other savory and sweet items made fresh daily. With more than 200 items on its menu, the bakery offers easy to-go options for those who want high-quality food but don’t have much time to sit down and eat.

Yoon, Lead Baker Fernanda Morales and Lead Caker Angelina Gonzalez joined Sunrise HNN to talk about the store’s February opening and showcase some of its best-selling products and seasonal offerings, including pizzas, cookies, macarons and doughnuts. This summer, Paris Baguette is offering a variety of lemon-flavored items, including a lemon-citrus cake.

“You can also order our cakes in advance through the app,” Yoon said. “So if you’re coming from outside the city center, you can order in advance, pop in, and pick up your cake.”

It is open daily from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Paris Baguette Hawaii operates within the DB Restaurant Group, which also owns DB Grill, Cafe Duck Butt and Cino.

Paris Baguette operates more than 200 locations in North America, with plans to expand to Hawaii. For more information, visit the Paris Baguette website or follow on social media @Parisbaguette_usa or Paris Baguette on Facebook.
