Stop Unwanted Commercial Calls in the UAE: How to Take Action

First, consider registering your mobile number with the Do Not Call Registry (DNCR), which is completely free. The DNCR prevents telemarketers from contacting you. Since August 2023, telemarketers have been legally prohibited from calling registered numbers, even with prior consent. Click here for a detailed guide on how to register with the DNCR.

DNCR prevents all unwanted sales or promotional calls by providing a list that tells telemarketers which numbers not to call. If companies ignore it and you continue to receive such calls even after signing up, you can file a complaint.

If you are having trouble receiving unwanted calls, please see below for information on how to make a complaint to du, Etisalat by e& and Virgin Mobile.
