My Net Worth Is 327 Million Shillings – Lands CS Nominee Alice Wahome

Lands Cabinet Secretary candidate Alice Wahome has revealed that her net worth is 327,650,000 shillings.

While speaking before the National Assembly Appointments Committee for verification, Wahome claimed that the property was shared between her and her husband.

“It’s mine and my husband’s. It’s 327,650,000 shillings,” she said.

Wahome explained that the increase in the value of her property was a result of the increase in the value of her property.

She added that the tenant who was indebted to her also paid a lump sum of about 14 million shillings in March.

“It was the properties that went up in value and there was one tenant who did not pay rent and paid about 14 million shillings in March.

When she first ran for cabinet, Wahome stated that her net worth was 218,400,000 shillings.

The former MP from Kandara stated during an audit in October 2022 that her assets include family properties jointly owned by her husband.

She told the committee that at the time her sources of income were her parliamentary salary, which she received until September, and a fuel allowance of 100,000 shillings from her law firm.

“From these properties, some of which are in my name, I get about 500,000 shillings a month,” she added.

Wahome revealed that in her free time, she was practicing law at Wahome and Akedi Advocates but did not devote much time to it.

She was a partner in the company along with her daughter.
