AWP Safety Expands Traffic Enforcement with 2 Acquisitions in Washington State

AWP Safety acquires Washington Traffic Control, LLC and Western Traffic Control LLC to strengthen AWP Safety’s position as a traffic control partner in the North American utility, broadband and infrastructure markets-next expanding the company’s reach in Washington and Oregon. Traffic control in Washington was founded in 2020 and offers a range of services, from traffic control planning and trespassing permits to equipment sales, rentals and maintenance. The company serves contractors, builders and municipalities throughout the state. Western Traffic Control, headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, was founded in 2021 and offers a broad portfolio of traffic control services, including planning, permitting, and equipment sales and rentals. The company serves contractors, builders and municipalities throughout Southern Washington and Oregon.

According to the announcement:

Together, AWP Safety and WTC will deliver one of the most comprehensive offerings of workplace safety products and services in the industry, including strategic traffic control planning, permit acquisition, temporary traffic control, and equipment sales and rentals. The acquisition of Washington Traffic Control complements AWP Safety’s existing operations in the Seattle area, while the acquisition of Western Traffic Control expands AWP Safety’s reach into northern Oregon.
