Salesforce acquires PoS startup PredictSpring to expand Commerce Cloud

PredictSpring, founded in 2013 and counting Salesforce Ventures among its investors, is led by Nitin Mangtani, the startup’s founder.

Prior to joining PredictSpring, Mangtani was a product manager at Google, leading the commerce infrastructure and search teams. Mangtani also led a Google Retail Promotions project focused on mobile conversion optimization.

PredictSpring also has investments from Felicis Ventures, Novel TMT Ventures, and Beanstalk Ventures. The company raised $16 million in a Series B funding round from its existing investors, and prior to that, it raised $11.4 million in a Series A funding round led by Felicis Ventures.
