About half of US state attorneys general went on a trip to France sponsored by a group funded by lobbyists and corporations

While the tax returns don’t list donors, the 2023 AGA brochure, provided by an attorney specializing in AG practice who requested anonymity for fear of professional retaliation, shows how it works: Corporate sponsors could send more people to AGA events by giving more money. For example, donors of $20,000 could have three spots at events during the year. Those giving $150,000 could have 30. More than 200 companies were listed as sponsors at various levels.
