FNCB Bank announces scholarship winners for 2024

FNCB Bank, a division of Peoples Security Bank and Trust Co., announced the winners of the FNCB Bank Foundation Meritorious Service Awards for the 2024-2025 academic year. The foundation awarded a total of $1,000 scholarships to five area high school seniors based on their academic excellence, community and school involvement, and citizenship.

This year’s winners are: Katherine Potter of Wyoming Area High School, Ty Mazzga of Wallenpaupack Area High School, Emma Gernhardt of Scranton Preparatory School, Kaylee Whiteford of North Pocono High School and Symeon Clark of Gregory the Great Academy.

Potter plans to attend Penn State University, Mazzga at the Webb Institute, Gernhardt at Villanova University, Kaylee at Elizabethtown College, and Clark at Hillsdale College.

“Congratulations to these five exceptional students who have been selected for this year’s FNCB Bank Scholarship. This scholarship recognizes their hard work, dedication and commitment to their education,” said Michael Cummings, FNCB Bank Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and Foundation Chair. “We wish them continued success in the future.”
