He cited ongoing investigations by the DES, the Royal Thai Police and the Department of Revenue, emphasizing the importance of ongoing discussions on the matter. He referred to the tax exemption for goods valued at less than 1,500 baht as part of the problem, noting that this affects small and medium-sized enterprises, which is a sensitive sector that needs protection.
