India Post will close the registration process for Gramik Dak Sevak posts on August 5, 2024. Candidates who wish to apply for India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 can find the direct link on the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The registration process has started on July 15, 2024.

The correction window will open on August 6 and close on August 8, 2024. This recruitment drive will allow for the filling of 44,228 positions in the organization.

The educational qualification for employment with GDS is a pass certificate in Class 10 Higher Secondary School Examination with average marks in Mathematics and English conducted by any recognised Board of School Education of the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India.

The minimum age of candidates may be 18 years and may not be more than 40 years. However, a relaxation in the upper age limit has been granted to candidates from the reserved category.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: How to Apply Online

To apply for India Post GDS recruitment, candidates can follow the below steps.

• Visit the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
• Click on the registration link available on the home page.
• Enter your registration details and click Submit.
• After registering, you must log in to your account.
• Complete the application form and pay the application fee.
• Click “Upload” and download the page.
• Keep a copy of the document for future reference.

The application fee for recruitment to GDS is ₹100. However, the fee is exempted for all female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwD candidates and Transwomen candidates. The application fee should be paid in online mode only.

The official notification reads, “The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained/conversion of marks/scores scored in the 10th class secondary school examination of recognized boards, aggregated in percentage up to 4 decimal places.” For more details, candidates can check the official website of India Post.
