The UGC NET exam was held on June 18 in offline mode at over 300 centres across the country.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the admit cards for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2024 re-examination. Candidates can download the admit cards through the official website of UGC NET – https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/. Before releasing the admit cards, the NTA will release the admit cards for the exam city, informing the candidates about the specific locations of their exam centres. These cards will contain important details like the date and time of the exam and additional instructions that will be mentioned in the final admit cards. The UGC NET exam was held on June 18. In the wake of the NEET UG paper leak case, news of the UGC NET paper leak also started going viral. Hence, the NTA decided to cancel it a day after the exam, on June 19. The agency announced the new schedule for the exam. It will be held from August 21 to September 4.

All the candidates who have applied for the UGC NET exam are currently waiting for the release of the UGC NET admit card. NTA is preparing to release the UGC NET admit card very soon. If media reports are to be believed, the UGC NET admit cards will be released in the second week of August, on August 15 or 16. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre. Strict measures will be taken to prevent incidents like document leaks. Candidates are advised to check the UGC website for the latest updates regarding the admit card release. To download the UGC NET admit card 2024, the application number and date of birth will be used to log in to the portal.
