Consulting group Avio Medtech announced today that it has appointed Frank Jaskulke as vice president of sales and business development.

Based in Minneapolis, Avio aims to help innovators by supporting, accelerating and navigating their way to market. The company supports growing startups and innovators in the medtech industry by providing them with expertise, streamlined processes and trusted partnerships to help them go from concept to commercialization and exit.

“Startups are tough, and I respect people who embark on that journey,” Jaskulke said. “Avio was founded by an entrepreneur to address their unique challenges. I’m excited to join this incredible team and share their vision for radically evolving the medical technology pipeline.”

Jaskulke previously spent 19 years at Medical Alley, a trade group for medtech and other life sciences companies in Minnesota. After spending time in positions such as vice president of member services and vice president of innovation, he left the organization in June.

According to a press release, Jaskulke has two decades of experience helping innovators and entrepreneurs get products to market faster and with less risk. At Avio Medtech, he will lead sales and business development strategies, oversee development partnerships and expand market presence.

“Bringing Frank into the organization at this important turning point in our organization is an example of our commitment to helping innovators and entrepreneurs take flight and supporting their product journey,” said Julie Pritchard-Hedtke, CEO of Avio. “With his fresh perspective, strategic leadership and expertise, we are confident that Frank will help us achieve our ambitious growth goals.”
