Some passengers told NBC Boston they were stuck on planes for up to six hours, while others had to sleep at the airport because hotels were sold out.

Hurricane Debby made landfall Monday morning in Florida as a Category 1 storm. Boston is expecting remnants of the hurricane with rain throughout the rest of the week. Numerous flights are delayed or canceled in Boston Logan.

Boston Logan issued a severe weather warning via X on Monday morning, urging airline passengers to check the status of their flights as travel plans remain uncertain amid the approaching Hurricane Debby.
