YEIDA extends deadline for plans for residential plots near Noida airport to August 23: 5 things real estate investors need to know

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) said it has extended the deadline for submitting applications for residential plot plans from August 5 to August 23, 2024. The decision to extend the last date was taken in the face of overwhelming demand from applicants who wanted more time to prepare and submit their applications, Yeida CEO Arun Vir Singh told Hindustan Times.

1 Location and price

Yeida launched the scheme on July 5, offering 361 plots located in sectors 16, 18, 20 and 22-D along the Yamuna Expressway, near the Noida International Airport. The authorities have fixed the land rate at 25,900 per square meter.

2. Why was the building plot program expanded?

“We have extended the application deadline… we want to give more time to those who wish to apply for plots. These plots will be allotted through a lottery draw to be held on October 10, and not earlier than September 20, 2024,” said Arun Vir Singh, CEO, Yeida.

“The scheme offers a total of 361 plots of varying sizes, ranging from 120 square metres to an impressive 4,000 square metres. These plots are strategically located in Sectors 16, 18, 20 and 22D, providing future residents with a variety of options to suit their specific needs and preferences near the airport,” he said.

3. All about the YEIDA housing plot project

A total of 361 plots are available under the scheme, ranging in size from 120 sq m to 4,000 sq m. These plots are strategically located in Sectors 16, 18, 20 and 22D along the Yamuna Expressway.

Yeida said rates will increase by 5% for plots overlooking the park and corner plots.

Officials said there are also special provisions for farmers whose land has been acquired for the planned development of Yeida or the Jewar airport, with 17.5% of these plots coming under reservation.

4. More than 90,000 applications have been received so far

The government said it has already received nearly 91,380 application forms along with the required 10% registration fee under the scheme. The extension of the deadline is expected to further increase the numbers.

5. Facilities offered

According to CEO Yeida, residents will be able to enjoy world-class facilities such as an airport, a film village, a medical equipment park, a MotoGP track, an electronics manufacturing cluster, an MSME garment and toy park and the Yamuna Expressway.
