New role created in developer’s expansion plans

Developer Charterpoint has strengthened its team with the appointment of Miles Howard as director of acquisitions.

The new position comes as part of the expansion plans of Charterpoint Group, a company specialising in the development of senior care homes, sustainable housing estates and mixed-use developments, as well as unique primary care facilities.

Howard has 30 years of land experience, having worked in the residential and retirement housing sectors.

His new role at Nottingham-based Charterpoint is a national one and will see him support the developer in continuing to identify and acquire development sites across the country.

Charterpoint CEO Adrian Goose said: “We are delighted to welcome Miles to our growing team at Charterpoint. He has a fantastic track record of acquisitions across our sectors and I anticipate his insight and experience will play a key role as we continue to expand.”

Howard said: “I am delighted to be joining Charterpoint, a respected developer with whom I have had the pleasure of working in the past. I look forward to taking on my new role as Acquisitions Director and supporting the business as it continues to expand across the country.

“My role is to identify and locate suitable sites for Charterpoint to consider for development – helping the company expand its portfolio of excellent seniors projects, neighbourhood centres, mixed-use developments and more.”
