Photos from the red carpet of the “It Ends With Us” premiere in New York

Stars and supporting cast gathered in New York for the premiere of the Sony film It ends with us starring: Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate and others, premieres on Tuesday, August 6. The film based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover tells the story of Lily Bloom (Lively), who falls in love with Ryle (Baldoni) and then reconnects with her first high school love, Atlas Corrigan (Sklenar).

Lily is ultimately faced with the difficult decision of staying with Ryle or leaving him, who turns out to be aggressive and explosive. Lively served as an executive producer on the film, with Baldoni directing it in addition to starring, and written by Christy Hall. Alex Neustadter and Isabela Ferer play the younger versions of Lily and Atlas, respectively. The film also stars Jenny Slate as Ryle’s sister, Alyssa, and Hasan Minhaj as Alyssa’s husband, Marshall.

Blake Lively wore a one-strap Versace dress previously worn by singer Britney Spears, whose memoir was recently optioned for a biopic. Author and executive producer Colleen Hoover was in attendance, as was Christy Hall, who helped write the script. Of course, Lively’s ever-supportive husband, Ryan Reynolds, was in attendance with Hugh Jackman by his side, as Lively supported them Deadpool and Wolverine bromance a few weeks ago.
