MAGA Fans Call for Boycott of Dunkin Donuts: ‘Bud Lite Treatment’

Donald Trump supporters are calling for a boycott of Dunkin’ Donuts after Rumble’s CEO claimed the coffee chain refused to advertise on the conservative video platform because of its “right-wing culture.”

Rumble has joined Elon Musk’s X in a lawsuit against several advertisers who they say have refused to do business with them because of right-wing content on their platforms, Newsweek reported.

On Wednesday, Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski posted on X that the company had reached out to Dunkin’ Donuts and its parent company Inspire Brands about advertising on the video platform because its users “are more likely to consume coffee.”

Pavlovski then shared an email that appeared to be from the company, partially redacted and with no information about the sender. The Rumble CEO suggested the email came from an advertising executive at Dunkin or Inspire Brands.

“To be honest… I would be opposed to appearing on the current version of the platform — the right-wing culture of the site is currently too polarizing from a branding perspective,” the message read.

Independent contacted Dunkin’ Donuts for comment.

Pavlovski also claimed that advertisers have organized to avoid Rumble because it hosts many pundits banned on other platforms. They include conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who was ordered to pay nearly $1 billion to the families of Sandy Hook school shooting victims after claiming their children were not killed but were “crisis actors.”

Rumble also features far-right commentator Nick Fuentes, who falsely claims that only 200,000 to 300,000 people died in the Holocaust. Six million Jews were killed by the Nazis. Of the Jews, Fuentes also said, “We’ll make sure they die in a holy war.”

#BoycottDunkinDonuts started trending on X on Wednesday. MAGA influencer catturd2 wrote on X, “They thought they could bully Rumble into abandoning his biggest podcasts behind the scenes. I know that for a fact. Time for BudLight- @dunkindonuts. Boycott them. We have to stick together.”

Other MAGA fans joined the calls for a boycott. iAnonPatriot wrote, “Time to give Dunkin’ Donuts Bud Light. Go Woke, Go Broke.”

Bud Light beer sales and the stock price of its parent company, Anheuser-Busch InBev, plunged following a right-wing boycott of the beer in April 2023. The boycott came after Bud Light partnered with transgender social media personality Dylan Mulvaney.
