Tax fraudster Li Zhang fights ATO from prison

Have you heard of the convicted tax fraudster who challenged a tax law while in prison?

Golf course developer Li Zhang was sentenced in February to 10 years in prison, almost seven without the possibility of parole, for conspiring to defraud the Australian Commonwealth of $15 million. That followed a 16-year global manhunt that took him to Hong Kong, China and then New Zealand, where the Hightrade Group executive was eventually arrested.
