HDK: Fight with state govt will continue till CM resigns

Mandya: Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy planted rice seedlings agricultural field Lakshmana, a farmer from Sitapura village in Pandavapura taluk, on Sunday. He claimed that fight with this state government it will last until CM resigns.
During his second term as prime minister in 2018, HD Kumaraswamy planted paddy seedlings in the same farmland. Kumaraswamy also performed the traditional bagina ritual, offering prayers to the Kaveri river on Sunday.
Addressing reporters, Kumaraswamy assured that the fight against the Siddaramaiah government will continue till the prime minister resigns. “The padayatra is over and the next step will be legal proceedings,” the Union minister said.
Claiming that the current government has looted the national treasury, Kumaraswamy said “all development works have been stopped and government resources are being wasted”.
Responding to Siddaramaiah’s claim that the prime minister’s seat was stable, Kumaraswamy said, “The prime minister’s seat has always been stable. Only Siddaramaiah’s seat is shaking.”
He appealed to Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to carefully consider his decision before questioning Kumaraswamy’s contribution to the development of farmers in the state.
Kumaraswamy said his interactions with farmers have given him valuable insights into the challenges faced by the farming community across the country. In a report by Hindenburg Research, Kumaraswamy said the finance ministry would look into it.
