Apple opens recruitment for entrepreneur camp in 2024

Apple has begun accepting applications for its upcoming 2024 Entrepreneur Camp educational program. The year-long program aims to help founders from female and underrepresented groups address their unique challenges.

We believe that apps for everyone should be built by everyone.

Research shows that founders from underrepresented communities face unique challenges, especially when starting and leading technology companies. We created Apple Entrepreneur Camp to support these founders and their organizations as they build the next generation of cutting-edge apps and create a global network that encourages the circulation and longevity of underrepresented founders and developers in technology.

Apple will offer in-person sessions for the first time since 2019. The in-person sessions will take place at the Apple Developer Center.

“We’re excited to welcome founders back to the Apple Developer Center, where they’ll have the opportunity to learn from Apple experts and meet with other developers in person,” Apple said in a statement.

Entrepreneur Bootcamp 2024 will be divided into multiple in-person groups, including a group for Black, Latinx, and Indigenous founders, as well as an in-person training for female founders.

Entrepreneur Camp offers a program for founders and developers who are female, Black, Latinx, or Indigenous and meet the following criteria:

  • App-Based Business
  • An application using Apple technologies and frameworks;
  • Functional and complete application available in the App Store, as a beta version on TestFlight, or as an equivalent .IPA file.

There will also be a virtual cohort connecting women and underrepresented groups.

This year, each group will have different start dates:

  • Underrepresented founders: October 28 to November 1
  • Female Founders and Underrepresented Founders: November 11 – November 15
  • Founders: From December 9 to 13

What is included

Apple Entrepreneur Camp consists of an immersive technology lab as well as an exclusive graduate program. After participants complete the final demos, they will also have access to:

The program will include coding lessons from Apple experts, opportunities for attendees to meet Apple executives, and more. After the lab, users will be able to showcase their progress, receive feedback from the crowd, and have a chance to demo their app live.
