Woman rescued after falling into well at Ogden home

OGDEN, N.Y. — A 66-year-old woman was rescued from a well at a home on Spencerport Road in Ogden Tuesday afternoon.

Ogden police along with Spencerport firefighters and Gates Volunteer Ambulance responded to the scene. They found the woman locked in what appeared to be an old cistern inside the house.

Rescuers managed to pull her out of the well. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
