Apple Podcasts Now Available for Listening Online

Apple today announced that Apple Podcasts can now be listened to in the browser, without having to use the Podcasts app. The new feature is compatible with Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on Mac, PC, and other devices. Users can search, browse, and listen to podcasts with access to their Up Next queue and library in the browser while signed in to their Apple account.

“Users can now enjoy the features they love,” the company said, “including the ability to browse millions of shows across categories, access the library and charts, purchase premium podcast subscriptions, and more.”

The Apple Podcasts. app on the web is for Windows and Android users. Clicking the Apple Podcasts web link on an Apple device will open the native Podcasts app.

Apple Podcasts launches a month after Apple introduced Apple Maps to the web.

Users with non-Apple devices can visit the Apple Podcasts website by clicking here. If you are using an Apple device and have the Podcast app installed, it will launch the native app instead of redirecting you to the website.
