Customers Won’t Be Able to Pay Iowa City Water Bills Online This Weekend

Temporary outage due to city payment software update

IOWA CITY — An update to the city’s payment software will prevent customers from paying their Iowa City water bills online or by phone this weekend.

The city said on Tuesday that payment interruptions can be expected from 8 p.m. on Friday until Monday morning.

The city’s online job postings and applications will be unavailable from 4:30 p.m. Friday until Monday morning due to a software update.
