Hollywood veteran to be independent studio’s COO and CEO

SK Global Entertainment, the independent studio behind critically acclaimed films such as “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Moneyball,” has hired Jeannine Tang as its new chief operating officer and general counsel.

Tang began her career in the film industry at the entry level, joining DreamWorks Animation in 2002 as a development assistant, a position that gave her the opportunity to work on classics like “Shrek” and “Shark Tale.”
