Chandigarh Startup Conclave: CII Organizes Chandigarh Startup Conclave

CHANDIGARH: Greater Chandigarh Region (GCR) may emerge as Launch destination in India, powered by a unique blend strategic locationinfrastructure and talent pool from leading universities.
This was highlighted in the CII Startup Meetup in Chandigarh 2024, organized in CII Northern Regional Headquarters, which stressed the need for further support through financial incentives realize the vision of GCR as a startup powerhouse.

Despite challenges such as limited access to venture capital and intense market competition“The region’s vibrant community and solid support systems are driving sustained growth.”
Dr Madhu Chitkara, Co-Chair of the Conclave, highlighted the role that the region can play in driving innovation in India, given its strategic location, advanced infrastructure and talented alumni of esteemed institutions.
