There aren’t many 9-year-olds handing out $2,000 checks. But it happened in Parsippany this week.

Vivan Bhattacharya organized a fundraiser for the Parsippany Food Pantry. He and his friends made a bunch of greeting cards and sold them at the town farmers’ market. These sales raised $1,800.

Bhattacharya presented the check to the pantry director. This is the fourth year he has organized this fundraiser.
