E-commerce services in Poland set for growth

The e-commerce services market in Poland reached 171 million revenue generating units (RGUs) in 2023 and is forecast to grow to 237 million by 2029, representing a 6% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2024 and 2029, according to PMR research. This growth is being driven by increased demand, rising incomes and a shift towards online shopping for services. Migration to Poland is also expanding the user base for services. While single transactions currently dominate, subscriptions are gaining popularity, particularly in streaming and transport services. The telecommunications sector is set to see significant growth, with bundled services expected to account for over 60% of the market by 2029, up from 53% in 2023.
