Charli XCX Joins Gregg Araki’s ‘I Want Your Sex’ Film Starring Olivia Wilde

After releasing her sixth studio album BratGrammy-nominated and Billboard Music Award-winning pop star Charli XCX has signed on to star alongside Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman in a film I want your sexa thriller about the adventures of Black Bear directed by Gregg Araki.

The provocative film, which explores themes of desire, dominance and fantasy, will be Charli’s second live-action role after Faces of Deathupcoming remake of Daniel Goldhaber’s cult classic for Legendary Entertainment, which also stars Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, and Barbie Ferreira. The film, which is set to begin production in Los Angeles in October, will be produced by Seth Caplan, Araki, Sciortino, and Black Bear’s Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler. John Friedberg, Joanne Roberts Wiles and Courtney L. Cunniff will executive produce for Black Bear, which will also fully finance the film and handle international rights, while CAA Media Finance will handle U.S. rights. Arlie Day and Mike Page are serving as associate producers and cast the film.
