Kerala govt’s KShoppe portal has big offerings, KShoppe, latest news, kerala,

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has launched KShoppe, an online portal for selling products from public sector enterprises. Minister P. Rajeev inaugurated the e-commerce portal by ordering a mundu (traditional Kerala garment) from the state-run Hantex. Dr. MS Vishnu Ambarish, Assistant Postmaster General of Thiruvananthapuram, handed over the mundu to the minister.

The minister noted that KShoppe incorporates all the features of modern e-commerce platforms. He added that in the next phase, the e-commerce platform will expand beyond India.

KShoppe: Key entities behind

The portal was developed under the supervision of the Board for Public Sector Transformation (BPT) with the assistance of Keltron. It serves as a unified online platform to market a diverse range of products from public sector enterprises. A mobile app is also available.

Punjab National Bank’s gateway is used for online transactions, while India Post is the delivery partner. Keltron will provide technical support.

A total of 350 products from 19 PSUs have been listed on kshoppe.in. The categories include Food, Home Décor, Personal Care Products, Men’s Clothing, Kids’ Clothing, Women’s Clothing, Home and Kitchen, Electronics, Agricultural Implements, Building Materials, and Household Cleaners. This includes items ranging from coconut milk to the iconic Aranmula mirror and laptops.
