Large shopping mall across from Pentagon is closed, with ‘senior government official’ inside

Police respond to a theft and robbery at an upscale shopping mall across the street from the Pentagon.

Arlington County police said three suspects entered the store at the Pentagon City Fashion Center and smashed a glass case with hammers and then used a fire extinguisher.

The suspects then fled on foot.

“The suspects in the robbery are three black males in their late teens, dressed entirely in black,” Arlington County police told X.

Police remain at the scene and continue to investigate.
