Formula 1 extends partnership with Lenovo, Motorola joins as global smartphone partner

Formula 1 and Lenovo have announced an extension to their partnership, which will see the tech giant promoted to Global Partner status in a multi-year renewal, starting in early 2025. As part of the agreement, Motorola, a subsidiary of Lenovo Group, will become F1’s Global Smartphone Partner.

As a global partner of Formula 1, Lenovo will continue to provide F1 with cutting-edge technology devices, solutions and services to support the delivery of Grand Prix events on track and remotely. Under the agreement, Lenovo will serve as title sponsor for two races per season, and Lenovo and Motorola will have an enhanced trackside presence at events.

Lenovo technology is at the heart of F1’s operations as an Official Partner from 2022. With its on-premises High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions, servers and edge devices, Lenovo supports Formula 1 in delivering a best-in-class broadcast product. Lenovo’s hardware – including laptops, workstations, desktops and monitors, as well as Motorola tablets and smartphones – provides F1 staff with high-quality hardware to create engaging, tailored content for the sport’s ever-growing and passionate fan base.
