Break the Web | What is this technology? App of the day

Jamey Tucker shows you an app that lets you keep up with current topics your friends might be talking about.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY?) — When you browse the internet or social media, you come across things that everyone is talking about that you’ve never heard of before.

You know, trends. If you search, you’ll find hundreds of references. Instead of reading all that, you can use the app “Break the Web.”

Break the Web uses AI to find out what everyone is talking about, then distills that information into a concise summary using AI-generated graphics.

Not only that, but for many stories he will show you what conservatives and liberals say about it. How does he do it?

Break The Web scours a list of news outlets to, well, break them down. Each story includes links to the stories in the source material. That’s enough information to keep you up to date.

So what kind of news are you seeing? Mostly politics and entertainment. But that’s what everyone’s talking about right now. Each post shows why a story is popular, based on how many news sources are mentioning it.

Break the Web is not and should not replace trusted sources of information. But I have found that if you are in a group of people at a tailgate party, cocktail party, or at the water cooler, you will have enough information to join the conversation.
