APC postpones National Caucus and NEC meetings indefinitely

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday indefinitely adjourned the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings.

The ruling party fixed the dates of both meetings on September 11 and 12 respectively with the consent of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The APC also published publicity materials inviting members of both bodies to participate.

However, Felix Morka, APC national publicity secretary, who announced the postponement of both meetings in a statement, said new dates for the meetings would be announced in due course.

The statement reads, in part: “Members of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are hereby informed that the meetings of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee scheduled for September 11 and 12, 2024, respectively, have been postponed.”

The party did not give a reason for the postponement.
