‘Tunes for Tyler’ Raises Funds and Awareness as Search for Tyler Goodrich Continues

PALMYRA, Neb. (KOLN) – As the sun set on Glacial Till Vineyard Thursday evening, dozens of Tyler Goodrich’s loved ones gathered to make sure the lights didn’t go out during the search.

“We just thought it would be a good way to renew that energy to bring everyone together and hopefully get the focus back on the situation,” said Rachel Barth, a friend of Goodrich.

Goodrich disappeared after leaving her home last November. His family and friends exhausted all local leads in their tireless search for him, so they expanded their efforts to the national stage.

That requires more money and time, Barth said, which was the reason for the “Tunes for Tyler” concert at Glacial Till Vineyard. All profits were donated to research.

It was also a moment of joy, celebrated with a toast and the live band “The Day Traders”.

“Just enjoying the music, what he loved, you know, hanging out with the community of friends,” Barth said.

Over wine and barbecue, those close to Goodrich remembered the difference his presence had made.

“He would just say, ‘How are you?’ How was your day?’ Danielle Reynolds, his colleague, said. “And I miss my friend in that regard.”

They looked back fondly, but they also looked back to a search that they believed would continue for as long as it took.

“I can’t stop, I won’t stop,” said Nate Wolfgang, Goodrich’s colleague. “Not until we get closure.”
