Netflix Ends Support for iOS 16 Apps – Here’s Which iPhone Models Are Affected

As a Tom’s Guide reader, you probably have one of the best phones for enjoying the best Netflix shows on the go. But with mounting evidence that people are keeping their phones longer than ever, it’s worth paying attention to when older devices stop receiving service support.

And that’s the case for Netflix and some older iPhones and iPads. The streaming service has confirmed that it will stop supporting iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. Devices running the Netflix app on either of those operating systems will be greeted with the following alert: “We’ve updated the Netflix app! To enjoy the latest version, install iOS 17 or later.”
