Keeper Security Password Generation Now Available on Mobile

Keeper, the creator of one of the best password managers, announced that its password generator is now available as part of the Keeper Security suite on Android devices.

Using the same password for every account is a surefire way to have your accounts hacked and your data stolen. That’s why it’s a recommended best practice to use a password or password generator for every account.

By generating a random combination of words and symbols of your desired length, you can create credentials that are more secure and complex than a standard password.

Keeper Passwords

Passwords shared with Keeper Password Manager can be stored in a secure vault. They are generated using a random combination of 7,776 words, as recommended by the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Craig Lurey, CTO and co-founder of Keeper Security, said, “We’re excited to bring the password experience to mobile users, starting with Android. This feature gives our users the ability to generate highly secure credentials right on their device, making it easier to protect their accounts while streamlining the login process.”

Keeper has also expanded its offering for Android users by introducing an extended logout time that can be set from one minute to two weeks. This allows users to set a session time that is convenient for them while also matching their company’s security level.

The password generator is now available for Android devices, and existing users will automatically receive the update via the Google Play Store. The Keeper password generator for iOS devices is expected to be released in the coming weeks.

Earlier this year, Keeper expanded support for access keys to mobile devices, allowing users to generate and store access keys anywhere.
