Apple iPhone 16 Series Pre-Orders in India Start Today: Prices, Deals, and More

Apple Inc. recently held its highly anticipated Glowtime event, showcasing a number of new products, including the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10, and the updated AirPods lineup. The iPhone 16 series includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. All models are equipped with new features and improved performance capabilities. In addition to the hardware launches, Apple also announced key updates related to iOS 18, promising a number of software improvements for compatible models.

iPhone 16 Series Pre-Order and India Release Date

Apple fans in India won’t have to wait long as pre-orders for the iPhone 16 series will begin on September 13 at 5:30 PM (India Standard Time), as per the company’s official website. Prospective buyers using American Express, Axis Bank, or ICICI Bank cards can avail an instant cashback offer of Rs 5,000. The sale will officially begin on September 20, and the devices will be available via major e-commerce platforms, Apple’s website, and at official Apple retail outlets, including Apple Saket in New Delhi and Apple BKC in Mumbai.

iPhone 16 Series Price, Specifications and Colors in India

The new iPhone 16 series offers a range of options, with each model catering to different needs. Below is a detailed breakdown of the prices and features for each variant:

  • iPhone 16: Available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants, the base model is priced at Rs 79,900, Rs 89,900 and Rs 1,09,900 respectively. The iPhone 16 comes in five vibrant colours: Ultramarine Blue, Turquoise Blue, Pink, White and Black.

  • iPhone 16 Plus: The larger iPhone 16 Plus mirrors the storage configurations of the base model, with prices set at Rs 89,900 for the 128GB version, Rs 99,900 for the 256GB option, and Rs 1,19,900 for the 512GB variant. It also comes in the same colour range as the iPhone 16.

  • iPhone 16 Pro: Aimed at users looking for higher performance, the iPhone 16 Pro offers four storage configurations: 128GB for Rs 119,900, 256GB for Rs 129,900, 512GB for Rs 149,900 and a 1TB option for Rs 169,900. The Pro model is available in four premium finishes: Desert Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium and Black Titanium.

  • iPhone 16 Pro Max: For those who want the highest-end experience, the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at Rs 144,900 for the 256GB model, Rs 164,900 for the 512GB option, and Rs 184,900 for the 1TB variant. Like the Pro model, it is available in the following colours: Desert Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and Black Titanium.

  • Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods line: Alongside the iPhone 16 series, Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch Series 10, which features significant improvements in health tracking, battery life, and design. Meanwhile, the updated AirPods line includes improved sound quality, longer battery life, and new smart features aimed at improving the user experience.

During the event, Apple also unveiled iOS 18, which is expected to introduce several software innovations aimed at improving the productivity, privacy and user experience of the company’s devices.
