DDA selects new executive director | News

SHREVEPORT, La. — The Downtown Development Authority has chosen its executive director.

During a special meeting, the board voted Friday to begin contract negotiations with Cedric Glover, a former state legislator and former mayor of Shreveport.

The position had been vacant since the beginning of the year after long-time DDA director Liz Swaine resigned.

Glover was one of two candidates considered during the meeting.

The DDA sought the assistance of a national recruitment firm in the selection process.
