Wisconsin Fast Forward Grants Fund Innovative and Collaborative Workforce Training Projects

The Department of Workforce Development (WFD) encourages employers to apply for the latest Wisconsin Fast Forward grant by October 28, 2024. Businesses of all types and sizes in Wisconsin can apply for funding to train skilled workers.

The Wisconsin Fast Forward program helps employers develop innovative local and regional solutions that meet the workforce needs of their region. These Industry Sectors Worker Training Grants cover the adjusted costs of job training for unemployed, underemployed and current workers. Training that qualifies workers for full-time employment, higher-level employment or salary increases can be reimbursed through grants ranging from $5,000 to $400,000.

“Any company interested in building its pool of skilled workers should consider applying for this grant,” said Secretary DWD Amy Pechacek he said. “The Fast Forward program is an investment in Wisconsin’s workforce, providing an injection of training that fills positions while giving workers the skills they need to succeed.”

Eligible applicants are:

  • Public agencies.
  • Private organisations in all industry sectors.
  • A consortium of placement partners, with the lead public or private organisation being the applicant.
  • The governing body of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or band, or an organization designated by the governing body of a tribe.

Application deadline is 3:00 p.m. Central Time on Monday, October 28, 2024. Grant amounts range from $5,000 to $400,000.
