Watch: Ohio Attorney General Refuses to Drop Racist Lie About Eating Animals

The list included several other journalists mentioned by name, including those from The Bulwark, The Washington Post, Meidas Touch News, Atlantic, AND New York magazine. Each media observation seemed more obvious than the last. At one point, the campaign seemed to have a problem with NBC News calling the attempted bombing an “incident on the golf course.”

“Democrats and Fake News must immediately cease their inflammatory, aggressive rhetoric against President Trump — which was emulated by yesterday’s potential (assassin),” the campaign wrote. “President Trump said it best: ‘Because of this communist leftist rhetoric, bullets are flying and it’s only going to get worse!’”

If what happened in Springfield, Ohio, is to be believed, the attacks from the former president seem to have prompted bomb threats. It is clear that Trump is not bothered by any of this (he said the same on Friday.) Instead, the former president is using the opportunity to continue painting targets on the backs of anyone who says something he doesn’t like — and the repercussions could be dangerous.
