The World Cup winner was treated like a king in the French capital, winning six titles and scoring 256 goals in seven seasons.

However, Mbappé’s important role at PSG meant there was often conflict with old teammate Neymar.

Brazil captain Neymar joined the Parisians in August 2017 for a world-record fee of £198million.

However, his fame quickly fell when, just weeks later, then-wonderkid Mbappe was loaned out and then forced to buy for £166m a year later.

During their time together, Neymar and Mbappe have repeatedly clashed in set pieces, battling it out for the title of best striker.

The Frenchman even infuriated his former team-mate when he failed to complete a simple pass to him two years ago.

Ultimately, Mbappe won the battle and with 256 goals to his name, he became the all-time leading scorer in Ligue 1 history.

Neymar, in turn, joined Saudi club Al-Hilal a year ago, scoring 118 goals in all competitions.

How Kylian Mbappe’s incredible seven-year body transformation turned a skinny teenager into the best footballer in the world

By Etienne Fermie

KYLIAN MBAPPE has reached the peak of his physical fitness as he finally put pen to paper on a transfer to Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old went from boy to man in Ligue 1, first with Monaco and then with his current club Paris Saint-Germain.

Mbappe made his debut for Monaco in 2015 as a slender 16-year-old.

That same year he even featured as a skinny youngster against Tottenham at the old White Hart Lane stadium, before fans realised what an icon he would become.

The following season, Mbappe truly rose to fame as Monaco reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.

In an archive photo released earlier this week, an 18-year-old Mbappe can be seen talking to a reporter after scoring two goals in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund in April 2017.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side feature several Samba stars, including Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Endrick and Eder Militao.

And Neymar reportedly did not spare criticism for playing alongside Mbappé.

Journalist Cyril Hanouna, who has 5.9 million followers on platform X, told French radio station Europe 1: “The Brazilians (at Real) are friends of Neymar.

“There has always been a war between Neymar and Mbappe.

“Neymar sent the Brazilians an article about Mbappe in which he wrote that it was a disaster, that it was hell.”

Neymar is currently sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury he sustained last year, meaning he has made just three appearances for Al-Hilal.

As for Mbappe, he has featured in every one of Real’s matches since joining the club and will be hoping to score in Tuesday’s Champions League group stage opener against Stuttgart.

Kylian Mbappe ‘buys £15m mansion in Beckham’s old neighbourhood’ next to Real Madrid legend and Hollywood star

By Gerard Couzens

KYLIAN MBAPPE has spent more than £15million on a Madrid mansion, sources say.

The French superstar, whose prolonged transfer to Real Madrid has finally been confirmed, is said to have completed the purchase late last month.

Reputable Spanish daily La Razon reports that the house he bought is located in the exclusive La Moraleja district of Madrid, where David Beckham spent most of his time when he was in the Spanish capital.

The man’s neighbours will include former Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos and his beautiful wife, model Pilar Rubio, as well as Hollywood star Richard Gere and his wife, Spanish spokeswoman Alejandra Silva.

La Razon reported that Mbappe was considering the gated community of La Finca, where Jude Bellingham lives and Cristiano Ronaldo still owns the property, as an option.

However, it has been reported that the 25-year-old, who hosted an extravagant party for 250 guests at a stylish Italian restaurant near the Eiffel Tower, ultimately opted for La Moraleja, a 15-minute drive from Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training complex, because it was “more convenient”.
