Transport Capital hires former DNB Bank executive as head of Greek business

Maritime finance company Transport Capital has appointed Nikos Papanestis as the new head of its Greek office, continuing its global expansion.

Papanestis, who took up the position on Wednesday, worked in offshore banking for 18 years in London and Athens.

In his new role, Papanestis will be responsible for business development and administrative oversight in Greece, which Singapore-based Transport Capital sees as a new and growing market for its business.
