In this newly created role, Einhorn will focus on the company’s content acquisition strategy, including licensing, unscripted co-productions, acquisitions, content creator partnerships and pursuing new growth opportunities.

He will report to Shout! Studios CEO Garson Foos and Executive Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs David McIntosh.

In addition to Foos and McIntosh, she will work closely with Julie Dansker, senior vice president, streaming and content strategy; Jordan Fields, senior vice president, acquisitions and original content; and Jeff Peisch, senior vice president, programming and new business development.

Einhorn previously spent a decade at New York-based streaming AVoD FilmRise, serving in a variety of roles, including vice president of acquisitions and later head of content. In May, he moved to a strategic advisory role, at the same time he founded Dangerous Ideas, a consulting firm that advises production companies on how to make generative AI part of their workflows.

In addition to its distribution and production businesses, Shout! Studios (formerly Shout! Factory) also operates the streaming platform Shout! TV and the FAST channel portfolio.

“(Einhorn) has a strong presence in digital entertainment, AVoD and FAST,” McIntosh said, adding that the new hire will play a “significant role in our overall growth.”

Einhorn said, “Shout! Studios is uniquely positioned as a champion of great film and television, recognized by audiences and our industry alike. I am thrilled to be joining this innovative team at such a transformative time for media. I look forward to leveraging my experience in content strategy to help Shout! Studios break new ground.”
