Dave Bautista’s ‘In The Lost Lands’ acquired by Vertical

EXCLUSIVE:Vertical acquires US rights to fantasy film In the Lost Landsreunification Resident Evil director Paul WS Anderson and star Milla Jovovich of Constantin Film.

Based on the story Game of ThronesThe film also stars George RR Martin and stars Dave Bautista, Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. It will be released exclusively in theaters early next year.

The plot centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, makes a bold move: she sends the powerful and fearsome sorceress Gray Alys (Jovovich) into the eerie wastelands of the Lost Lands in search of magical power. There, the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Bautista), must outwit and defeat humans and demons…

Constantin Werner wrote the screenplay from a story written with Anderson. The film is produced by Anderson, Jeremy Bolt, Jovovich, Bautista, Werner, Jonathan Meisner and Robert Kulzer. The executive producers are Martin Moszkowicz, Nico Bruinsma, Kirk D’Amico and Kevin Forester, with Richard Wright serving as executive producer.

That’s why it was always important to me to see it on the big screen. That’s why I couldn’t be more excited that Vertical is bringing In the Lost Lands to American cinemas.”
