Jetcraft Commercial adds to senior management team

: Jetcraft Commercial, the commercial division of global aircraft trading company Jetcraft, has appointed Fiona O’Malley as Vice President, Fleet Purchasing. The appointment further strengthens the company’s industry-leading expertise, with O’Malley bringing more than 25 years of experience in operations, leasing, sales and marketing to the role.

Raphael Haddad, President of Jetcraft Commercial, said: “Fiona is a force in the world of commercial aviation, with a career that spans some of the world’s largest leasing companies and provides access to a global network of customers.

“At Jetcraft Commercial, we have a proven track record of taking large, strategic fleet acquisitions and transforming them into global aircraft deployments to drive aviation capabilities. Fiona’s appointment enhances our approach and we are confident she will be an asset to our team.”

Prior to joining Jetcraft Commercial, O’Malley spent 12 years at Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) where she served as Vice President of Commercial Operations and most recently as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where she was responsible for over 300 aircraft valued at over $2 billion, as well as managing complex turnarounds for key accounts. Earlier in her career, she also served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at AerCap, leading aircraft placement in Eastern Europe.

In his new role, O’Malley will support the execution of Jetcraft Commercial’s fleet acquisition strategy and assist the company’s airline and rental company customers in transforming their fleets.

Fiona O’Malley, Vice President of Fleet Acquisitions at Jetcraft Commercial, adds: “Jetcraft Commercial is thriving. With a leading position in the regional jet and turboprop markets and a growing presence in the single-aisle trade, the team has the ability to source inventory that others cannot. I look forward to being part of such a dynamic team.”

O’Malley is Jetcraft Commercial’s second acquisition in recent weeks, following the appointment of Sales Manager Didi Kamilova to capitalise on growing demand in Central Asia and the Middle East. Kamilova joins the company after five years as Corporate Account Manager at Jetex, supporting sales strategies and customer relationships in the Middle East, Central Asia and Europe.
