Infinix Zero 40 5G smartphone with AI features and 50-megapixel selfie camera launched in India; Check price

The much-awaited Infinix Zero 40 5G smartphone has been launched in India.

The mid-range device was launched in select countries in August, alongside the Infinix Zero 40 4G.

The Zero 40 5G will be available in India later this week. So let’s take a closer look at its specifications and features, especially since it’s the first phone with Infinix AI technology.

Display

The Infinix Zero 40 5G has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2436 pixels), a 144Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1300 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Efficiency

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC and running on Android 14, the Infinix Zero 40 5G offers innovative AI features including AI Eraser and AI Cutout. It is the first model to offer these Infinix AI capabilities.

Camera

The smartphone has a triple rear camera: a 108MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The front camera also has a 50MP sensor, and both the front and rear cameras can record 4K video at 60 frames per second.

Battery

The device is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and supports 45W wired and 20W wireless fast charging.

Price in India

The Infinix Zero 40 5G is priced at Rs 27,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs 30,000 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. As per official reports, the sales will start today, September 21, in India.
