BookMyShow App and Website Crash Before Coldplay Concert Tickets Were Available

BookMyShow, the website where tickets for the Coldplay concert in India were supposed to be released at 12:00 PM Indian time, has crashed. The sale could not be started. Not only the website but also the app crashed.

Many fans who were eagerly awaiting the start of ticket sales were disappointed when the website crashed.

The app also crashed, with many users reporting error messages when trying to book tickets.

Ticket sales on the website started only at 12:15

Tickets for Coldplay concerts are not yet available.

Ticket sales started after 12:18 PM. They are already available for purchase on the BookMyShow website and app.

Ticket prices for the concert range from Rs 2,500 to Rs 12,500, with options of Rs 3,000, Rs 3,500, Rs 4,000, Rs 4,500, Rs 9,000 and Rs 9,500. The highest ticket price is Rs 35,000 for lounge seats. There is an elevated viewing area and food service. Each transaction is limited to a maximum of eight tickets.

The iconic British band, Coldplay returns to India with great anticipation after a nine-year hiatus as part of the Music of the Spheres World Tour. The renowned band has announced their shows at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday, January 18, 2025 and Sunday, January 19, 2025.
