Microsoft has released a mobile app that lets users remotely control their Windows desktop. Google is adding more support for account passwords. Walmart is joining Amazon and Target in a holiday tech sale from Oct. 8 to 13.

Microsoft has launched a new Windows app for remote desktop access. Users can stream Windows from cloud services to Mac, iPhone, and Android devices. It supports multiple monitors, but the app is limited to work and school accounts.

Google is making it easier to use passkeys across multiple devices. Users can now securely sync passkeys with Google Password Manager on Windows, macOS, and Android using a PIN. iOS support is expected to come soon.

Amazon will have some company next month. Walmart announced a deals event that will take place from October 8 to 13, with early access for Walmart Plus members. This comes after Amazon and Target announced that they are hosting early holiday sales during the same period. Shoppers can expect big savings on top tech, toys, and more.
