Health Update: Seahawks DL Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy Out

When the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins face off at Lumen Field in Week 3, Seattle will play the second half of the season without two of its biggest names on the defensive line.

Both Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy left the game with injuries in the first half, although the team declared each questionable to return. However, after leaving the half, the Seahawks ruled both out for the rest of the game.

Seattle’s defensive line was already thin before the game, as starters Uchenna Nwosu and Jerome Baker were out with injuries. That means the Seahawks will play the second half of the game without their top four defensive players, which could make things easier for Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson.

The inexperienced Thompson has struggled in the game so far, completing 11 of 17 pass attempts for just 85 yards and being tackled for fifth.
