Microsoft Chooses Keyless Biometric Authentication for Startup Program

Microsoft has selected Keyless to participate in the Startups Pegasus program, which will provide the company with valuable resources, tools, and expert advice to help it expand its market presence for biometric authentication.

Keyless biometric authentication can be integrated with the Microsoft ecosystem, including platforms like Azure Active Directory B2C and Microsoft Entra ID. The authentication provider specializes in systems that combine encryption with biometrics, which it claims enhances user privacy while maintaining rigorous security standards. Keyless uses advanced cryptographic techniques to secure biometric data stored on cloud servers.

“This partnership will help us continue to grow globally and deliver on our mission of providing strong multi-factor authentication that does not compromise user privacy,” said Fabian Eberle, co-founder and COO of Keyless.

By integrating its zero-knowledge biometric technology with Microsoft Entra ID, Keyless aims to make it easier for organizations to adopt biometric authentication as part of their multi-factor authentication strategy. Keyless also recently introduced an identity verification tool to automate back-end processes during user registration. IDV Bridge eliminates the need for an additional registration system, the company says.

“Keyless’ approach to enhancing security and privacy aligns with our mission of empowering organizations, and we look forward to working together to provide advanced security solutions to our joint customers,” said Tom Davis, partner at Microsoft for Startups.
